Shinai Maintenance

With Yu Sensei's impending visit, now is a good time to brush up on your shinai maintenance skills. Be sure to check your shinai regularly for splinters/splitting, tighten the nakayui (leather strap) and tsuru (string), and rotate the slats if necessary.
